Haut Cosmetics Shipping Policy
Order Processing
All Haut Cacao products are freshly mixed and shipped within 2–4 business days of order placement, Monday through Friday. I handcraft every single product one by one here in the BC mountains, so large or custom orders may take a little longer as I perfect every shade and texture. Orders placed on weekends or Canadian holidays are typically processed on the next business day. If you need your order by a specific date, please place it several weeks in advance.

We offer a range of shipping options with varying delivery speeds and tracking availability. Please note that shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed, especially for non-tracked or international shipments.

International Shipping Terms
By purchasing from Haut Cosmetics for shipment outside Canada, you agree that all orders are subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country (“Import Fees”). These fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient/importer of record.
Customs clearance procedures may cause delays beyond estimated delivery times. For questions related to import fees or customs, please contact your chosen carrier (e.g., Canada Post, USPS) or your country’s customs office.
Package Ownership and Risk
Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier. Once handed over to the carrier, Haut Cosmetics is no longer responsible for delays, damage, or loss in transit.
Non-tracked shipping offers no delivery guarantees. If you want to track your package and have recourse in case of delay or loss, please select a tracked shipping option.
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete at purchase. We cannot change shipping details once the order is processed. Haut Cosmetics is not responsible for shipments lost or delayed due to incorrect addresses.
Delivery & Signature Requirements
ExpressPost shipping requires a signature at delivery. If you are not available to sign, your package may be held at your local post office for pickup.
Refused Shipments
If you refuse a shipment, you will be responsible for the original shipping cost, any import fees incurred, and return shipping charges. These will be deducted from any eligible refunds.
Shipping Delays
Delays due to weather, natural disasters, border crossings, customs inspections, or carrier disruptions are beyond Haut Cosmetics’ control. We advise ordering well in advance of any event or deadline for which you require delivery.
Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales, including samples, are final and non-refundable.

Your order will be shipped in eco-friendly, recycled, and plantable packaging as part of our green commitment.
