Vitamin C, also known as L. Ascorbic Acid serves many purposes for the skin. It helps produce collagen in the skin. Collagen is what makes skin look young and keeps skin from forming wrinkles. Vitamin C also helps fade age and sun spots and is also a powerful antioxidant which attacks free radicals in the skin that are causing the skin to age prematurely. Directions:
- Mix the ingredients in a bowl (suggested measurements below).
- Apply a THIN LAYER to a clean face and throat.
- Rinse after 5-10 minutes with cool water.
- Follow up with a face oil.
**You must be very careful that the mask does not run into your eyes. If vitamin C gets in your eyes it will cause irritation and burning.**
Leave on for no more than 5-10 minutes. If your skin tingles that is natural. Too much tingling for sensitive skin may feel uncomfortable. Remove it with cool water and lower the amount of vitamin C in your next mask.
1/2tsp vitamin c mask + 1 tsp supernatural time traveler mixed together in a bowl. If you do not have supernatural time traveler, then you can use aloe vera gel or distilled water. Application is easiest with a foundation brush or you can gently apply with fingers. Be careful not to rub the vitamin c granules into the skin as it may cause slight irritation as one would when doing an exfoliation. Also make sure to avoid the eye area so that you do not get any vitamin C in your eyes. You can bring the mask all the way down the neck and across upper chest to smooth hyperpigmentation. Let mask dry completely. This will take around 5 minutes. Rinse the areas where you have applied the mask with cool water until the mask is completely removed. Apply raspberry elixir, coconut cream, or your favourite moisturizer. You will see the maximum results when this mask is applied once or twice a week.
