for years, i’ve wanted to put into words what ozone has done in my life and why i’ve become so obsessed with oxygen, redox, and microdosed oxidative therapies. this post is the beginning of that story. it’s part personal memoir, part field notes from a long, winding exploration into ozone’s history, its controversies, and its potential. there is so much more i want to share—about what i’ve seen, what i’ve felt, and what i’m still learning—so consider this your invitation into an ongoing conversation.

ozone, oxygen, and the day everything shifted for me

the treatment was called eboo. it is sort of like dialysis: roughly a cup of a person’s blood is taken out of the body and exposed to pure ozone and red light therapy before being returned to the bloodstream. i still remember the feeling like it was yesterday. it was like having a few cups of coffee but without the jitters or crash. i felt so clear, so energized, that i was chatting with everyone else receiving the therapy in the shared room.

that single experience planted a seed. even though i couldn’t keep going back for eboo, i knew there was something important happening with ozone.

since that first session, i’ve been passionate about this type of therapy. i’ve closely followed the work of the man often called the father of ozone for almost two decades. he’s in his eighties now, yet he has the energy, quick wit, and positivity of someone in their forties. that alone says a lot about what long‑term ozone and oxygen work might be doing in his body.

he treats patients with chronic pain syndromes, including neck pain, whiplash, degenerated or herniated discs, carpal tunnel syndrome, torn tendons, temporomandibular joint syndrome, sciatica, heel spurs, neuromas, tennis elbow, rotator cuff tears, knee injuries, and other sports injuries. he has also seen ozone help reduce scar tissue from accidents or surgery.

he shares something i find incredibly powerful: “when ozone therapy is administered correctly, there is an 85 percent chance for the chronic pain sufferer to be completely pain free.” that’s not a small statement.


why you’ve probably never heard of this

if you’re wondering why you’ve heard next to nothing about ozone therapy, one of the simplest reasons is this: ozone cannot be patented. there’s no blockbuster drug model attached to it, and that alone changes how much attention it receives.

yet at therapeutic levels, ozone has a remarkable safety record. a german study looking at 384,775 patients and more than five million ozone treatments found that the rate of adverse effects was only 0.0007 per application. that is far lower than for almost any other type of medical therapy.

over the past seventy years, well over ten million people—primarily in germany, russia, and cuba—have received oxidative therapies to treat over fifty different conditions. in some cases, oxygen‑based therapies are used alone; in others, they’re combined with traditional medicine or integrated with alternative practices like megavitamin therapy, acupuncture, and herbal medicine.


oxidants vs antioxidants: why the balance matters

there is nothing more important to human life than oxygen. we all know that. but what often gets missed is this: oxidants are just as important as antioxidants. it’s not about eliminating oxidants; it’s about the right dose and context.

microdosing oxygen in a super‑charged, carefully controlled way works systemically, giving the body a nudge to actually heal itself. mitochondrial dysfunction is incredibly common, especially in chronic illness, fatigue, and degenerative conditions.

mitochondria and oxidized lipids: the little messengers

when it comes to longevity, the holy grail is figuring out how to optimize mitochondrial function. mitochondria aren’t just “powerhouses”; they’re also redox sensors and decision‑makers in the cell.

my formula includes tiny lipid messengers that have been gently oxidized. these lipids, derived from ozone and other electrophilic lipid oxidation processes, do something plain oxygen does not: they give the mitochondria a redox shock signal.

that means they:

the deeper i go into ozone and redox biology, the more convinced i become of one central truth: the only way someone truly heals is through their own immune system.

ozone doesn’t “do the healing” for you. instead, it stimulates cells like fibroblasts and chondroblasts—the cells responsible for making collagen and cartilage. by doing that, it can support real structural repair: nerves, joints, ligaments.

there are countless stories of patients who were told they “need a total knee or hip replacement” who, after a series of ozone injections, are still out running around years later. those stories, for me, are not about miracle cures; they’re about what becomes possible when you help the body remember how to repair itself.


why i keep coming back to ozone

from that first eboo session sixteen years ago to my current work with microdosed oxidative patches, one theme keeps repeating: when the dose and delivery are right, the body responds in profound ways.
