benefits
An ozonated oil-based eyeliner could, in theory, offer some soothing and potential antimicrobial or reparative benefits for the delicate skin around the eyes. Research shows that ozonated oils—when properly formulated, such as liposomal ozonated oil—have demonstrated anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and tissue-repairing effects on the skin and the ocular surface. These properties may help soothe irritation, reduce the risk of infections like blepharitis, and promote healthier skin and lashes.
application tips
This unique formula is best applied with my icing on the cake brush, defining moment brush, or the eyes have it brush, depending on the thickness of the line desired. I find the easiest, most fool-proof choice is the icing on the cake brush turned on it’s side so it is the thin part, applied in small segments across the lash line. For a softer smokey look instead of a clean line, you can line the lashes, then lightly smudge with fingertips or a brush, then re-apply another line.
This formula also works well on brows for a more dramatic brow or to fill in bald patches in the brow. If you happen to have the odd grey hair in your brows, you can coat it with one of these shades to camouflage it properly. The best product for removing this product as part of a bedtime routine is my raspberry elixir. Just aa few drops on a tissue is all that is needed and it is extra gentle on the delicate skin around the eyes.
