I love activated oxygen or ozone as a health treatment. I have used ozone IV therapy for health personally (for Lyme and IC) with incredible results. Being that it is a more expensive treatment choice, I had to figure out a way to incorporate activated oxygen into a few of my products to see if I could create something that was just as effective. Guess what? I did!! Ozone is one of the most powerful things on earth to create a healthy microbiome on the skin and in the body.

what is ozone?

Ozone or O3 is activated oxygen (O2). Ozone contains three atoms of oxygen rather than the two atoms that oxygen contains. The additional atom of oxygen becomes a highly active element. It destroys pathogens, like viruses, bacteria, fungi, odours, and it is a potent detoxifier. Only pure oxygen is left behind as the byproduct.

When oxygen combines with UV rays from the sun, ozone is created. Ozone protects the earth by attaching to pollutants. and purifying the air we breathe. It is used to disinfect water, pools, and medical environments. It is also used in the treatment of a variety of diseases. The additional atom in ozone makes it unsafe to breath when in a contrated form. This is why it needs to be infused into the body directly, or into other substances in order to be utilized. What is active oxygen oil?

Ozone which is naturally a part of the atmosphere, can be created by flowing oxygen through an electrically charged tube. Ozone gas dissipates very quickly. One way to capture it and preserve it is to bubble it through an oil. For my products, this process starts with raw, cold-pressed castor seed oil or coconut oil. The oil goes through an extended process where  ozone is bubbled through it. The process of fully infusing the oil with ozone takes months. Once fully ozonated, the oil becomes more of a thick gel. It is solid and will no longer flow like oil. With the oxygen it is a miraculous healing and protective gel on top of the benefits of the plant oil itself.
