benefits
I chose the highest quality ingredient blend so this unique formula is not only a DHA alternative self-tan, you are improving the look and feel of your skin. When I used DHA formulas in the fitness industry, I started to loathe the mess, the smell, and how the tan did not wear off evenly. Even though I was tanned, the texture of my skin can be best described as looking extremely dehydrated after applying or spraying on my DHA-based tan. Also with DHA and intensely dark petroleum dyes, a person can go from being extremely pale to being so dark that suddenly they feel insecure if they do not have that level of colour. I experienced it firsthand as well as with my clients as a spray tan artist. They would be panicky. Looking back, on a psychological level, in my opinion, I don’t believe it was healthy. After working in the fitness industry I also get how easily this happens because adding colour accentuates curves and muscles. It is like waking up with a body and face foundation already on, that does not rinse off in the shower. Everything looks more smooth and balanced when you add a little colour saturation (example -demi makeup) but like everything else, we think if a little tint looks great, much more will be best!
My caramel tan cream formula is a wonderful option if you have extremely dry skin, and it is the preferred choice as a self-tan for the face. This creamy mousse formula requires quick blending as it mattifies quickly. This results in a speedy application and the greatest colour payoff. There are zero dyes and colourants which means no mess and no staining of clothes. The colour is white so you can still see where you are applying the product. You can also choose if you would like a signature aromatherapy scent added or if you would like to it to be 100% unscented. Unlike DHA-based formulas, there is no biscuity smell that needs to be masked, just the subtle, natural and fresh smell of fruit oils.
NAD+ skincare benefits
In skincare, NAD+ is believed to have several benefits, including:
- Anti-aging properties: NAD+ is thought to help repair damaged DNA and promote healthy cell function, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Improved skin texture: By boosting cellular energy production, NAD+ can help improve skin texture and tone, giving the skin a more youthful appearance.
- Enhanced skin barrier function: NAD+ has been shown to support the skin’s natural barrier function, which can help protect against environmental damage and maintain hydration levels.
- Reduced inflammation: NAD+ has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help calm redness and irritation in the skin.
- Increased collagen production: NAD+ is believed to stimulate collagen production, which can help improve skin elasticity and firmness.
red raspberry seed syrup is the active tanning agent:
it reacts with the amino acids in the top layer of the skin and cause a natural tan effect similar to the sun without exposure. Red raspberries contain eleven anthocyanins (4). Anthocyanins are the compounds responsible for producing the colourful pigments in fruits and vegetables. They are what make raspberries that beautiful red. In addition to giving color, anthocyanins are also good for your health. These free radical scavengers are beneficial for numerous health benefits including immune system regulation, anti-inflammation , and protection from DNA damage. Cold-pressed red raspberry seed oil is a natural source of Vitamin E (tocopherol), Vitamin A (carotenoids), and natural antioxidants.

Transdermal magnesium application offers several potential benefits:
Transdermal magnesium application is gaining popularity as a way to potentially enhance overall well-being through skin absorption. Proponents suggest that it can significantly improve skin health, contributing to enhanced elasticity, improved hydration, and a reduction in outbreaks of skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Beyond the skin, transdermal magnesium is believed to promote relaxation and help manage stress, fostering a sense of calm and improved mental well-being.
cold-pressed black seed oil
This versatile oil contains powerful compounds, particularly thymoquinone, which contribute to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. These qualities make black seed oil potentially beneficial for various health concerns, including skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis, as well as respiratory issues such as asthma and allergies. Studies suggest it may aid in weight management, support cardiovascular health by helping to regulate blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and assist in blood sugar control for those with diabetes. Additionally, black seed oil shows promise in boosting the immune system, potentially offering protection against certain types of cancer, and supporting digestive health.
soursop fruit oil
Rich in antioxidants, particularly vitamin C and flavonoids, soursop helps combat free radicals and reduce inflammation throughout the body. These properties contribute to its potential in preventing chronic diseases like diabetes and supporting cardiovascular health by regulating blood pressure. For skin health, soursop’s antioxidant content proves beneficial in fighting signs of premature aging, while its anti-inflammatory properties can soothe conditions like eczema and acne. The fruit’s high vitamin C content promotes collagen production, enhancing skin elasticity and promoting a youthful glow.
water hyssop
Water hyssop is known for its hydrating qualities, which can help maintain skin moisture and improve overall skin texture. Some studies suggest it may aid in wound healing and skin regeneration, promoting a healthier complexion. Additionally, water hyssop’s ability to improve circulation may contribute to a more radiant and youthful appearance by enhancing nutrient delivery to skin cells.

always store in fridge so that it creates a consistency where you cannot easily apply too much product. Apply one pump of the foam to your hands and spread it evenly in sections, using the foam as your guide.
The above is just a suggestion. It is best to start with caramel tan cream samples if you have never tried a DHA-free formula before.. Always apply in the morning to dry skin following a shower, the first time following a thorough exfoliation for best results. Applying in the evening will not work as well. body tan application directions: caramel tan is best applied after a thorough body exfoliation. The generic spa exfoliating gloves in different colours work best. It is important the skin is dry so wait about half an hour after getting out of the shower. That way, the color will develop smoothly. It does not have an immediate to eight hour tint as most DHA formulas do but the cream is white enough that you can tell when it is applied evenly. Your ‘tan’ will take twice as long to develop as a DHA formula and will last longer too. Make sure you start applying it 3-4 days before your event. If you are planning on applying two applications back-to-back, apply the first application 4 days before your special event. For a consistent tan on the body, apply once a week to maintain colour. To extend the longevity of colour, apply a plant based, hydrating moisturizer or raw plant oil daily and remember to apply a natural SPF as this ‘tan-looking colour’ does not protect you from the sun.
Important! Sample + full size application tip: Synthetic ingredients can deactivate the active tanning agent. Also, avoid hyaluronic acid, waxes, silicones, and dimethicone. If you are using my makeup and skincare, I have avoided any ingredients that would do that except for my purifying night serum. If you are not sure of your makeup ingredients I would try it on a different area than the face and apply it generously. The third detail is that some try to spread the samples a little too thin. I recommend just a couple applications per sample on a small area like the inner lower forearm. So you would split the one sample in half (it doesn’t have to be perfectly equal), first half on the first day of application, the second half two days after the first application and do not stretch it any further. The inside forearm is a good place. Always apply in the morning! It is best to not use water that is really hot as it can dehydrate the skin. It is also a good idea to stay away from the ingredients I have recommended. Also, moisturizing often will help extend the life of your tan.
